Music

Making music is a vital part of worship and congregational life at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The diverse music ministry programs at Emmanuel provide our congregation, and visitors enhanced, joyful, and Spirit-led worship experiences. Through choral literature, instrumental and vocal ensembles as well as the congregation’s voices, we bring hymns of praise and thanksgiving to our Lord. With our music we “Serve the Lord with gladness” and “come into his presence with singing!” (Psalm 100:2)

If you have any questions about the music ministry here at Emmanuel or want to participate please e-mail Robert Morehead, Director of Music at rmorehead@elcvienna.org

Cross Generational Choir-All Ages (yes, from 1-100!)

Emmanuel’s Cross Generational Choir is a choir for all ages that leads and sings at 2 convergent services (9:30 AM) each year. We sing various styles and always have fun. Each season includes four rehearsals on Tuesdays (usually Nov. and either Jan/Feb) and includes a time for food and fellowship before at 6:30 PM. Music tracks are posted online and there is a one rehearsal requirement for anyone that would like to sing for the service.

Gifts of Special Music – All Ages

Emmanuel’s Director of Music is always delighted to incorporate any music talent or gift you have within the three worship services each Sunday. Each musician meets with the Director of Worship to practice and prepare and then the musical offering is scheduled and presented.
