Young Adult Event

The Metro D.C. Synod Racial Equity Team and Youth + Family Committee invite young adults to a powerful event on racial justice, Saturday, May 17. “Good Trouble: Being Bold and Boundless” will engage participants in recognizing racial injustice, fostering repentance, and moving toward reconciliation in ways relevant to their age group.  Led by Dr. Marci Vandiver, this session will include interactive activities, racial education, and a time of fellowship and discussion on how to take bold action for justice. The session will be held in-person at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Vienna, VA, and online from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM.  For more information and registration click here.
