70 for 70 Service Campaign

The 70 for 70 Service Campaign
Celebrating 70 Years of Ministry with 70 Hours of Service
In celebration of our 70th anniversary as a congregation, Emmanuel Lutheran Church is launching a campaign of service beginning Sunday, May 31st, 2026 through May 30, 2027. We invite all of our members to engage in 70 hours of service over the course of the year. Your 70 hours can be accomplished as individuals, families, partners, groups, or teams. You might undertake the challenge to serve 70 hours yourself. You might work with others and add up your hours together to total 70 hours as a group.
This campaign is not a contest. We are not asking for financial donations. We are asking for your time and talents given in service to our community and congregation in a celebration of God’s grace among us over the last seven decades!
In the spirit of our mission to share our faith together, we are asking that you share your service stories. Maybe you will track your service hours in a log and submit them. Maybe you will take photos, videos, or write up reflections and share them with us along the way. Maybe you will do all the above. It is all about serving God, serving others, and giving glory to God in whose name we serve together.
If you would like to join us in this service campaign, simply sign up by emailing Pastor Tony Prinsen and let the adventure begin—God bless you in your service!
