Faith Forum: A Prophetic Call to the Church – MLK and Beyond Part 1

Rev. Dr. King’s prophetic call to action to the Church is grievously and regrettably relevant over 50 years later. In this two-part forum, we will be watching segments of a video reading of Dr. King “Letter from a Birmingham Jail,” with 20 African American voices of rostered leaders of the ELCA (many serving in our own Metro D.C. synod!) and from the African Descent Lutheran Association. As February is Black History Month, together we will explore how this letter continues to challenge and inspire us. We hope you will join for discussion and reflection.
