Hypothermia Prevention Week

The Hypothermia Prevention Ministry involves a lot of God’s people, on many levels, as we work with FACETS to prevent death from hypothermia exposure in our area.  Emmanuel’s week this winter is January 8-15, 2023.  This ministry is a wonderful outreach opportunity and you may experience the joy of giving in ways not anticipated.  This ministry places you on the front line of where assistance is needed in our immediate geographic area, while you work with others in teams supported by FACETS staff.  Volunteers are needed for many roles and times over the course of our week.  There are roles in church preparation each day, there are evening meal preparation and service, chats with our Guests, and fire patrols, among the many opportunities.  Contact the church office for more information.
