Special Congregational Meeting
October 4, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
On Sunday, October 4, all voting members of Emmanuel will have the chance to meet and interact with the candidate online, to listen to them preach, and to ultimately be a part of the decision to consider the Council’s recommendation to extend a call for our next associate pastor.
Because the candidate is currently called at another ELCA congregation, confidentiality during this process is of the utmost importance. The opportunity to interact with our candidate on Sunday, October 4 will not interfere with other Sunday morning events previously scheduled (worship, faith formation, faith forum, drive-through communion, youth group, etc.) and will take place in a private, online forum.
Shown below is the planned schedule of activities in support of and leading up to the congregational meeting:
6:00 – 6:45 pm | Meet and Greet with Candidate
6:45 – 7:30 pm | Special Evening Worship Service
7:30 pm | Special Congregational Meeting

Dear Members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church,
God has been working mightily through Emmanuel in this pandemic time leading us to do more than just hold things together but also to take steps forward into our future as well. I thank you all for your generosity of support, time, hard work, and prayer that has made that happen!
