God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday Tailgate

September 13 is God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday, an opportunity to celebrate who we are as part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.

Emmanuel will be celebrating GWOH Sunday with a church-wide tailgate from 5:00 – 7:00 PM and a collection of needed items for our partner organization, The Lamb Center!

Tailgate Details:
We will have 35 spots available for households to reserve for the tailgate which will allow for social distancing. Pop your trunks and bring your own lawn chairs, games, food, and drinks while Emmanuel will be supplying an ice cream truck dessert for everyone! Masks are required to be worn when not eating/drinking.

Service Project details:
We invite everyone to participate in the collection of needed items for The Lamb Center through the month of September! A list of items needed can be found here.

Items can be dropped off during the Tailgate from 5:00 – 7:00 PM or again on Sunday, September 27 during drive thru communion from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. You can also order items through an Amazon wishlist and have them shipped directly to the Lamb Center. View the wishlist here.
