Speaker Jamie Bruesehoff

Join us at Emmanuel on Sunday, March 30th from 3-5 PM for a special speaker event, in partnership with Christ the Servant Lutheran in Reston and the Metro DC Synod. Jamie Brueshehoff (she/they) is an ELCA member, author of “Raising Kids beyond the Binary: Celebrating God’s Transgender and Gender-Diverse Children” (which is part of our RIC resource library) and an LGBTQ+ youth advocate who spends their time talking to communities about making safer and more inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ youth. They will share about their book and experiences, followed by a Q&A and a reception with light refreshments. This event is free and open to all.
