God’s Work, Our Hands Weekend

God’s Work, Our Hands Weekend is Saturday September 11th and Sunday September 12th. ELC and Vienna Presbyterian have partnered to co-sponsor “Vienna Earth Care Day” on Saturday, from 10 AM to noon, following the 9-11 memorial service. Emmanuel is hosting projects at Southside Park, and we especially need project leaders at Southside for these areas: trash pickup, painting, removing bamboo, and more. Worship on Sunday, September 12th will be a healing service, sharing all the ways we need healing in our lives, to recognize how God holds us in our grief, loneliness, mental health challenges, anxiety, acknowledging these last 18 months have been difficult for many of us. Join us for a special litany of healing and restoration, in addition to a recognition for the 20th anniversary of 9-11.
